ABOUT

DRN Financial LLC is the brainchild of Ali Nejadmalayeri, Ph.D., CFA (a.k.a., Dr. N, as his students call him). The two passions of Dr. N's research revolve around (1) the role macro factors such as demography and technological innovations play in asset prices and (2) the role of information flow (corporate actions, FOMC announcements, regulatory changes) play in credit markets (corporate and municipal bonds). 

Ali Nejadmalayeri, Ph.D., CFA, or as students call him, “Dr. N”, holds John A. Guthrie Endowed Chair in Banking and Financial Services at the College of Business of the University of Wyoming. Prior to joining the University of Wyoming, Dr. N held ONEOK Chair in Finance and Jay and Faynelle Helm Professor of Business at Spears School of Business of Oklahoma State University, where he was also the Finance Ph.D. director. Prior to joining Oklahoma State University, he was the finance area coordinator and the faculty adviser to student-managed fund at the University of Nevada-Reno. Dr. N is an award-winning teacher and researcher with more than twenty years of applied, impactful research with numerous publications in top finance and business journals.
